Song of the Week
Run Like The Devil
by
The Imaginary Suitcase
Laurent Leemans was for 20 years lead singer and guitarist of the folk-rock band Ceilí Moss from Belgium.

In 2012 Laurent has decided to start the solo project The Imaginary Suitcase next to the band. As he explains, after 15 years spent in a band of 5 to 8 musicians, he felt a longing for something intimate, sober and personal. In 2015 Ceilí Moss split up after being together for over 20 years.

Laurent writes: "The imaginary suitcase is the one we carry along throughout our lives, the one that contains our dead or barely breathing illusions and the images of our life as we fantasize it."

Laurent uses different electric or acoustic 6 or 12-strings guitars, an auto harp and some percussion for his performances.

Since the start of The Imaginary Suitcase he has released 6 albums with lyrics in English, French and Dutch.
