We Love the Underground is a solo project of Brad Cox (vocals, guitar, bass and synths). After his former solo project, Skitzo Calypso, gained more members and turned into a band, Brad Cox decided that it had legs to stand on and at the same time realised that he needed a place to put his "misplaced intentions and ideas - the storage locker of songs, hiding in the tiny folds of his mind". We Love the Underground became this place.

Brad Cox started making music in high school. In 1996, he moved to Hollywood "like all of the cliche' rockers do" and discovered that writing music was his true passion. Skitzo Calypso was born and recorded altogether 9 studio albums. At the moment, the band are working on the next release, while Brad is at the same time experimenting on the side on his We Love the Underground project.
