Song of the Week
Metibla
Let Me Feed
Metibla started in 2003 as a music project of Riccardo Ponis, an underground film maker from Italy, who has recorded his songs in collaboration with Valerio Fisik (Inferno, Physique du Role) and Paolo Alvano of Kardia - the co-author of some of Metibla songs.

Metibla is a short for "Merry Time Black", which can be seen as the motto of the project. On Metibla's website, we can read about the philosophy behind it: life is not beautiful, but through music, he can "unleash a merry black time to transform it into a cauldron that contains all the bitter aftertaste of life." Music expresses love and is an emotional experience.

Metibla has released three albums so far, Paraphernalia, Hell Holes and Crimson Within. You can buy them on their website and on iTunes.
