Lunic is a project started by Kaitee Page, a singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist in 2009. The band's line-up has been changing over the years. At the moment, it is a duo, the other musician being electric MIDI violinist Megan Berson. Sometimes they are accompanied on stage by a live drummer.

Lunic debuted with the album Lovethief, which was funded by fans on Sellaband.com, where Kaitee Page had signed up in 2007, still as a solo artist. The album was released in May 2009, and in January 2011 Lunic completed fundraising for the next album, which they are now finishing. The release is planned for summer 2012.

The sound of Lunic has developed and evolved; from the more typical rock sound of Lovethief, it travelled towards electronica, to become a mix of real and virtual instruments, with varied proportions for each song.
