Cecile Morel, singer-songwriter from the Hague, has made songs from an early age. It has always been a natural way for her to express her feelings and emotions and tell about her experiences. Among others, she has performed at festivals like Schollenpop, KoninginneNach, Kaderock, Beatstad Heats The Hague and Haagse Popweek. Her melodic songs and crisp vocals touched the hearts of many pop/folk/country music fans.

In 2008, a documentary about Cecile's journey in music was made. It was directed by Tamara Andriessen. The documentary showed Cecile talking about her dreams, preparing for her shows and performing with guitarist Erik Minken.

Cecile's collaboration with Erik Minken started in 2005. Erik, who also plays the mandolin, became also the co-writer of her songs. In 2008, Cecile and Erik were joined by Dobro-player Martin Suijs, who helped complete the sound of the band. The trio went on to perform at radio stations, festivals, music cafes and theatres.

In 2009, Cecile performed at the Festival Krabbenfoor in Bergen op Zoom together with 50K Artists Gisel de Marco and Inge.
