Elyose was formed when composer, classical vocalist and pianist Justine Daaé met composer and bass player Ghislain Henry in early 2009. Both shared varied and, as they say themselves, chaotic musical backgrounds. Justine and Ghislain decided to reform a metal band with a more modern sound based on a mix of electronic and classical music. 6 months later, guitarist Arnaud Pflieger joined the band and Elyose was ready for its first gigs while still focusing on the writing of its first album Théogyne.
