Annie Bacon is an Oakland-based Indie-Americana artist, writing and performing her own music with O-SHEN, a rotating band of local musicians. Equal parts Folk, Anti-Folk, Americana, Rock and Indy-Pop, O-SHEN combines Annie Bacon's sweet and compelling voice with sensitive, highly literate lyrics, multiple harmonies and driving rhythms. The strong emotional impulse in Annie Bacon's songs ache towards a re-definition of traditional sounds, while the songs also playfully make space for an eclectic audience.
