The headquarters of SellaBand announced a new era at Monday December 1. Reason for us to ask 'the boss' (CEO of SellaBand: Johan Vosmeijer) about the whereabouts. He explains the reasons behind the new concept of SellaBand in an interview in our show this Sunday.

We are not changing and are happy to say that the show is now in the top 10 of best listened podcasts at Podplaza (http://www.podplaza.nltopshows.html).

As always we keep up with what is going on at SellaBand. We pay attention to a lot of noisy or more quiet newcomers from all around the world. We also give airplay to the winner of the SixPack competition. If you want to keep supporting the 'Artist of the week': this is your chance!!

Song of the Week
Laïxa
L'ange noir
Firstly, let me explain, Laïxa is the name of a band in which Paméla sings, and Chris plays the instruments. However, the framework of the songs is set within the personality and (slightly weird) world of the imaginary character Laïxa. (so don't be surprised if she communicates with you personally - she represents everything the band is).

Laïxa is the embodiment of the duality of mankind, a being neither alive nor dead - at the same time good and evil, male and female, capable either of bringing forth life or killing. The songs, therefore, are often ambiguous, sometimes seemingly about one thing but finally revealing that they're about something else entirely; usually exploring the darker aspects of the human condition, but in a sensual way.
