Strange Kinda Feelin
The SOME x 6 Band ( sometimes six ) was officially started in 2002. Brad Curtis and a few of his friends had just finished playing a Senior Men's Baseball game at the historic Nat Bailey Stadium in Vancouver, Canada, and were talking about the game. They discovered they all shared an interest in music and on the same day they decided to start playing together.
The band mentions the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Joe Cocker, Robin Trower, BB King and, most of all, Stevie Ray Vaughn as their first influences. The musicians in the band changed many times. At present, Brad is playing with Bart Dwyer Murray McLaughlan and Gordon Cole on guitars and Dave Holden on drums.
The Some x 6 Band released their latest CD, The Hoodoo Shake, on August 31, 2012.

If you didn't join, you have a chance to hear one of the songs from CyLu's debut album now, because the first song we play today is the opening song of the album "Chansons mineures" and it was also the first song in the listening session.
