Song of the Week
Natalie Chandra
Downing the Pain
Natalie Chandra started writing her own songs during her last year at the Performing Arts College in Singapore and continued this throughout the next several years, still singing cover songs with different bands and musicians at night and earning a living as an English teacher by day. She recorded a demo of three original songs shortly before returning home to Switzerland in 2001. One and a half years later, she got introduced to her present production team.

Natalie Chandra's songs cover subjects from her fellow human beings' arrogance and disrespect towards the environment and animals, to the inner-struggles of the human heart. But what inspires her the most is the experience and feeling of responsibility towards the world that she got growing up in different countries.

Natalie Chandra is raising funds for her album and touring on SellaBand.
