KONTRUST have been around since 2001 and already their album Welcome Home (2005) brought them many faithful fans. In 2010, even more recognition was brought to them by their song Bomba from their album Time to Tango (2009), accompanied by a videoclip which caught the attention of an influential radio station in the Netherlands, 3FM. The song stayed in the chart of 3FM for weeks and also reached the top of the Rock chart on iTunes in the Netherlands. KONTRUST got invited to play at popular festivals and music venues all over the Netherlands, and their shows were sold out a number of times.
Success in their home country Austria followed: in September 2010, KONTRUST won the Amadeus Music Award in the category Hard&Heavy. Since then, they have extensively toured Austria and Europe.
Bomba (Hardcore polka version) is a bonus track on KONTRUST's latest album, Second Hand Wonderland (2012).
