Song of the Week
Gisel de Marco
Not enough of a man
Gisel de Marco was born in Rosario in Argentina. She got interested in music already as a child and started taking piano lessons and soon making her own songs. She took part in various music activities, singing in school plays, musicals and karaoke bars. At the age of 18, she started recording her first demo and got a chance to perform on several local TV stations. In 2004, she performed in Los Angeles, after winning the singing and songwriting competition by "With you in Hollywood", a show produced by the Warner Channel. In the same year, Gisel became the lead singer of a local band known as "The Spanglish Band", and performed with them at clubs, restaurants and various events, while also giving solo performances.

In March 2007, Gisel signed up on SellaBand and in August 2008, thanks to 356 believers, completed raising the budget of 50 000 $ to record her debut album. The album All the Way, released in August 2010, was recorded in Quantum Leap Studios in Dover, England, and produced by Marcus Bishop.
