CATSELF signed up on SellaBand at the end of October 2008, just after she had decided to focus seriously on music and made the first multi-instrumental recordings of some of her songs. Her compositions, often with elaborate and adventurous arrangements, and playful lyrics, often going in unexpected directions, quickly found new fans. Catself kept climbing up the SellaBand chart until on February 6th this year she reached her target of 40 000 € - or more exactly, 40 007 € - the second highest target reached so far on SellaBand (the highest being Public Enemy).

Catself is beginning work on her debut album. She has also started a promotion Project in order to raise funds for touring when the album is finished. This time she offers to new believers, among other things, downloads of her first and second album, each believer can be in one of her songs and the biggest believer will get the red guitar.
