Tula
Hey You
Tula started playing the piano when she was five, and learnt to play it by herself. Her relationship with music has always been passionate. Her father, a former trombonist and son of a Lithuanian opera writer, told her that music is only for the soul. For Tula, it meant more: she felt that her soul could not exist without music.

Following her parents' recommendations, Tula did not first try for a career in music, but instead got a degree in molecular biochemistry. For 10 years, she could only find time for her music at night, after work. In the end she decided to give up her job and follow her passion.

Tula comes from Israel, but currently lives in Belgium. In Israel, she got a lot of exposure for her video Hey You (TalentCast Video of the Month for October 2010), which was broadcast on The Israeli Music Channel 24. The video brought her also positive reviews in Europe.

Tula is a passionate artistic spirit, who lives for love and for music. She says on her MySpace profile: Music is my soul, my motive and my drug. It's a true addiction.

Tula is working on her first album with the German producer Oliver Philips. She has also collaborated with a Hungarian metal band Gyongyver and Mikko Harkin (a former member of Sonata Arctica).

Tula is raising funds for her debut album on SellaBand.com.
