Terror
Born in Paris and based in London, T-ka (out of the Indian Tikka symbol she is wearing on her forehead) starts to compose in 2000 Pop melodies that she accompanies with her soulful voice in English.

Her young career starts solo piano/vocals on Lille, Paris, Seoul and New-York stages.

In 2004, she opens for Maceo Parker in Paris. She also lends her voice to different "electro" projects such as « Almost Hydrofoiling » by Bikini Rumble released in 2005 (Montera Music/La Baleine).

In 2006, she self-produces her first album thanks to which she wins "Nouv'elles" bands contest in 2007 and opens for Tower of Power, Malia and Robin Thicke. She also plays in great festivals: "Enghien Jazz Festival", "Solidays", "Muzik'elles"...

But it is through the website www.sellaband.com that she finally records with a real production.

Thanks to www.sellaband.com website which allows artists to find investors to produce their album, she gathers $50000 on November 5, 2007 thanks to 684 investors from all over the world.

Thanks to this support, T-ka records her first album "And maybe a tree will rise out of me..." in California in optimal conditions: in California with the producer Sylvia Massy (Prince, Skunk Anansie), accompanied by talented musicians such as Jeff Pevar (Ray Charles, Crosby Stills & Nash) on guitar, Stevie D (David Gilmour, Crosby Stills & Nash) on drums, Tibo Barbillon (Nouvelle Vague) her bassist, already present on the self-produced album and Bill Holloman (Nile Rodgers, Diana Ross) on horns. The rappers from Las Vegas' crew « Ambytionz Chyldren » feature on the track « Terror ».

The album was released on July 14, 2008 on Sellaband, iTunes, CD Baby, Amiestreet, Amazon.co.uk and Amazon.de. French release of the album in shops: October 27, 2008.

The CD is available on CDBaby.
